Transportation

Our clients often ask us to make transportation arrangements upon arrival in Tokyo (Narita/Haneda) or Osaka (KIX/Itami), which can either be a private car/van (roughly US$250 for a sedan or more for a van or a luxury car; the driver will meet you as you exit from customs with a sign) or a door-to-door shuttle (especially for KIX/Itami; Yen 3,000/person). Transportation payment can be made by credit card once arrangements have been made.

Restaurants

Many clients request hotel/restaurant advice and reservations (we also provide bilingual instructions in Japanese / English for getting to the restaurants chosen; usually sent by fax to the hotel).

Cross country Japan private tours

Recently, a number of clients have used our services to coordinate 7-10 day trips in Japan: usually Tokyo, Kamakura, Hakone (Gora Kadan Hotel, www.gorakadan.com, and the Fujiya, www.fujiyahotel.co.jp/fujiya/english/index.html, are popular choices), Kyoto, Nara.

Special arrangements: geisha & museum trips, etc.

In terms of special attractions/arrangements, a number of our clients ask us to set up an evening with geisha/maiko in Kyoto, take them on evenings walks in unusual locations (especially Fushimi Inari Grand Shrine in Kyoto and the Kabuki-cho nightlife district in Tokyo), or visit the Miho Museum (http://www.miho.jp/english/index.htm) 90 min. east of Kyoto.
